Carlos Delgado Works Out for Sox in the Bronx

With Youkilis done for the season the Red Sox are looking at Carlos Delgado as a possible alternative. The Sox held a workout in the Bronx this morning to see if Delgado, who has not played in the majors since May of 2009 and has had two surgeries, is ready to play.  If the Sox get Delgado look for them to platoon with Lowell at first base.
