On Monday the Cardinals played their annual intrasquad game and it wasn’t a low stakes affair.
From ESPN.com:
Manager Mike Matheny said the team tries to encourage as much competition as possible, even in camp games. The stakes of the intrasquad game were that the losing team had to serve as clubhouse attendants.
“My favorite part is that every single year, the team that is into it the most wins the thing,” Matheny said. “It’s a valuable lesson to us, because there are a bunch of unhappy guys in there right now. From the toilets to the showers to the shoes to the dishes to the vacuuming. You name it. They have to do it all.”
The named members (according to ESPN) of the losing team include Matt Adams, Seth Maness and Carlos Martinez.
Further research indicated that Matt Holliday, Jhonny Peralta and Jedd Gyorko were also on ‘Team 2’.

So no matter how bad your Monday was, just realize that down in Florida there are very wealthy men being humbled and having to do not only their job, but the job of a clubhouse attendant.
No word on how clean they got the crappers.
