Ryan Hanigan has spent parts of seven seasons in the Major Leagues. That said, it's pretty safe to say that his crowning achievement happened Monday night.
You see, of the 2845 entries (and 190 breeds!) at the 138th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, the Tampa Bays Rays catcher's pooch, an Australian shepherd named Copperridge What’s Your Dream, brought home the Best in Breed award at America's top dog show.
“It’s incredible that she went from my number one bed buddy to best of breed at Westminster,” Hanigan said following the grueling day of judging.
So what's next? Best in show?!? Probably.
Actually, yes…that's the progression of things.
