According to Chris Broussard of ESPN, the Cavaliers are shopping Dion Waiters, and the 76ers are interested.
Sources: Cavs shopping Dion Waiters. They’ve spoken w/Chi, NYK & Philly. No deal imminent. Waiters is open to being traded.

Sources: Cavs’ targets 4 Waiters – Shumpert (NYK), Deng (Chi), Evan Turner (Philly)

This makes sense to me, because the Cavaliers have Jarrett Jack on the bench, who is more than capable of being a starting shooting guard for the Cavaliers. Also, Waiters is having a bit of a down year; he is averaging 13.0 points, 2.3 assists, and 3 rebounds per game, but he is shooting just .389 from the field, which is awful. They are also struggling to get production from the small forward position, so I can see them going after Sixers’ forward Evan Turner.
Evan Turner is a young, good player, that would help the Cavaliers a lot. If the 76ers were to make an offer to the Cavaliers for Waiters, here is what I think it will look like:
Cavaliers Receive:
- Evan Turner
76ers Receive:
- Dion Waiters
- 2014 Second Round Pick
The time for the 76ers to trade Evan Turner is right now, because he’s playing really well, and his trade value has been on the rise lately. Also, Dion Wiaters is only 21 years old, and he was drafted 4th overall by the Cavaliers in 2012, so he has a ton of potential.
