I’m at the home office this morning, trying to meet a deadline so the boss (dad) can get paid for the work he’s done, so I’m working feverishly with him. Never fun being in the family business. No days off, no vacations, working weekends, no travel time, no road trips, it’s all about the family business. It’s my life. Anyway, you don’t care about that, you just want the latest sports media news so I’ll provide it to you.
CBS College Sports debuts two new shows just in time for college basketball season which really gets underway in earnest this month with conference play. One is hosted by The Omen, Mr. Damien himself, Seth Davis of Sports Illustrated. The release says the show will inform and entertain. Maybe it will inform, but with Damien, entertain might be a tough sell. As you can tell, I’m not a fan of Seth Davis, but I do admit he has some good sources in college basketball, but for an insider, I prefer ESPN’s Andy Katz. Ok, I’m in a bad mood and I’m taking it out on Damien, but it’s my blog, I can write what I want.

The other show involving Greg Anthony, Pete Gillen and Steve Lappas is the show that I think will be entertaining. I do hope to check out Damien’s show sometime during the regular season.
