C.C. sees run, fan support in 7-3 win

It took only a half inning for newest Brewer starter C.C. Sabathia to get the run support he was not getting in Cleveland.
Ryan Braun smacked a 3-run home run, his 22nd of the year, off of Rockies’ starter Mark Redman. The Crew plated a fourth run in their half of the 3rd inning, giving Sabathia all the cushion he’d need. Sabathia allowed an earned run in the 4th inning, and a pair in the 6th before leaving for the night. Billy Hall smacked a 2-run single with the bases loaded to provides some additional insurance for the bullpen…not needed, as David Riske, Eric Gagne, and Brian Shouse pitched scorless 7th, 8th, and 9th innings, respectively, to give the Crew and Sabathia the win.
