The Pacers finally got a win against the struggling Philadelphia 76ers, and their reward was to head into Boston to take on the Celtics.
I was actually optimistic about this one, considering the Celtics had been struggling themselves as of late.
The result? Another spanking, 122-103. The Pacers just can’t hang with the elite teams, even when they are struggling.
Sigh.
Two positive pieces of information. One, Roy Hibbert somehow managed to stay on the floor for 41 minutes (picking up just 2 fouls) en route to a game-high 23 points, but only 3 rebounds. Two, TJ Ford hurt himself in the first quarter, which means there is potentially more playing time for AJ Price in the near future.
Next up, the Bucks in Milwaukee.
Come on Pacers!
