I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas! The NBA gave us the best gift ever with a list of great games on all day. The Boston Celtics vs. the Brooklyn Nets were the first to play on Christmas Day. The last time these two teams met, Rajon Rondo was suspended for two games after pushing Kris Humphries after Kevin Garnett was fouled.
However, Kris Humphries sat out with an injury causing him to miss this game. The heat between these two teams still lingered on Christmas Day! In the third quarter, Gerald Wallace and Kevin Garnett got into a scuffle, which caused the refs to give a tech to each Gerald Wallace, Kevin Garnett, Courtney Lee and Andray Blatche. The big man Jared Sullinger scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Also, Jeff Green scored 15 points and 3 rebounds. Also, Rajon Rondo scored 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.
The Jet finished with 11 points and 4 assists. The top scorers for the Nets were Gerald Wallace and Brook Lopez with 15 points each. Also, Joe Johnson finished with 12 points, 2 assists and 4 rebounds. Deron Williams wasn’t a factor in this game as he only scored 10 points, 6 assists and 2 rebounds.
The Celtics will play the Clippers today at 10:30pm! The Celtics look forward to cool down the hot Clippers as they have won 14 games straight. Go Celtics!
