The rivalry continued Friday night with the Celtics playing the Sixers at home. The Sixers held on to their lead after three quarters with the score being 83-74. Nonetheless, the Celtics rallied late in the fourth quarter only being down by four with several chances to change the momentum of the game. The Sixers outscored the Celtics with 26 fast break points.
The high scorers for the Philadelphia Sixers were Evan Turner who scored 25 points and Holiday finished with 21 points. Meanwhile, the Celtics high scorers were Rajon Rondo who has played 20 straight games with 10 plus assists as the longest streak of NBA history. However, ‘The Truth’ finished with 24 points and KG had 19 points. The final score of the game was 106-100.
