A couple of weeks ago, we broke a story that Rondo was possibly leaving Nike for Chinese sneaker brand Anta. Well a fellow C’s blogger spotted more proof that this may indeed be true. Hayley, who writes for Australia’s “Celtics Down Under“, tweeted this photo from camp yesterday that captures the sole of Rondo’s shoe. And sure enough, Anta’s logo is there. And now this morning comes these photos of what supposedly is the actual shoe. FYK7, who writes for sneakersite Long7, posted these photos on his Instagram. You can see the words “Rajon” and “Rondo”, one on each shoe near the toebox. The Rondo logo on the tongue appears to be him doing his signature behind-the-back fake move. Chuck also posted a photo of Rajon in a black/green away version of the shoe in today’s Dump. It’s included in the gallery below. Still no official announcement from Anta yet.
