Celtkicks: Anta releases more Celtics kicks as part of NBA deal

As part of Anta’s sponsorship deal with the NBA, the brand has released more models of their Boston Celtics themed sneakers. And I have to say, these are much better than the first few pairs they made to say the least. There’s the KG6, (more on those in a minute) a low trainer and another low built basically like an AF1.

The one thing that I absolutely love about all of the Celtics shoes is the O’Brien trophy. While all of Anta’s other NBA models feature each team’s logo on the tongue, each Celtics shoe has the NBA Championship trophy on it’s tongue. Recognize.

The KG6 is Kevin Garnett’s sixth signature shoe with Anta. It comes in a TWolves shoe, which has a badass pic of KG as a wolf on the tongue, a Nets & Celtics shoe. To celebrate Garnett’s 20th year in the league, they made one shoe for each team. Here however is where I’m a little lost; the Nets & Boston shoes have “20” on the heel for KG playing 20 NBA seasons. However the TWolves shoe has “19” on it. I’m working on figuring this out. If you have a guess/theory, let me know in the comments.

You can head over to Hi-Basketball and pick-up each shoe-tell them KWAPT sent you.
