There are many reasons to love St. Patrick’s Day. The parades, the partying and for guys like me, the kicks. Each NBA season, players break out some great (and sometimes not so great) St. Patrick’s Day themed kicks for the week of the holiday.
Last night, Rajon Rondo gave us a glimpse of his Anta “RR1” in a special St. Pat’s makeup. However it appears they didn’t fit right or were otherwise not up to his standards as he switched them mid-game. They included his new logo on each shoe in gold and green, a gold Anta logo and what appears to be gold speckle on the toe box. Sorry the resolution on the close-up pic is not where I want it, but will post better quality photos as they become available. We’ll have to see if he wears these again either in New Orleans or Dallas. Check out a few more pics via Sina in the gallery below..
