Dropped Out: Ohio State, Michigan State, Arizona State, Auburn, UCF, Mississippi State
Also Receiving Votes: Texas Tech, Ohio State
Some interesting movement this week in our poll. Oklahoma leap-frogged LSU and Alabama with their victory over FSU and also picked up both of LSU’s first place votes. Bama kept their first place vote but moved down to #3. FSU moved up in our poll with a quality loss to our new #1 Oklahoma. Clemson and Illinois had the highest debuts of the week at #19 and #20 as they both beat teams that were in our Top 25 last week. There were six teams leaving the Top 25 and thus six new teams in the Top 25. Only two teams not in the Top 25 received votes which is half of last week when four additional teams received votes. The biggest faller of the week (that didn’t fall out of the poll as Ohio State and Michigan State fell hard and long and completely out of the poll) was Arkansas but they can change that pretty quickly this week as they play our #3 team, the Crimson Tide of Alabama.
