Bearcat walk on running back Chamdoa Kennedy-Palmore was killed today while riding his motorcycle. The details come from Cincinnati.com:
Chamoda Kennedy-Palmore, a non-scholarship football player, was killed when a vehicle turned across two lanes of traffic and hit his motorcycle, according to Cincinnati Police Department Spokesperson Tiffaney Hardy.
Kennedy-Palmore was wearing a helmet and proper gear, (UC associate athletic director) Ryan Koslen said.
The crash happened on Vine Street near Glen Este Place and Woopler Avenue.
Thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Chamoda in these tough times.
This happened nearly a year to the day after Ben Flick was killed, and Javon Harrison and Mark Barr were injured, in an auto accident coming back from the Miami game. Another heartbreaking loss for the Bearcat family.
Cincinnati dot com has updated their article with a look at tweets from the Bearcat community, as well as the Lakota East community, his high school.
Bearcat Nation is always there, in good times and tragedies. We are going to be there for each other and Chamoda’s family. All we can do now is pray for them and send our positive thoughts to help through this trying time.
