Chaos and frustration is nothing new for the Kings

After a disappointing loss to the Utah Jazz, DeMarcus Cousins spoke his mind like he usually has his entire career. It wasn’t anything new but it’s note worthy to say the least.

“I know for a fact there’s a lot of frustration in this locker room,” (DeMarcus) Cousins told reporters after the game. “I believe everyone believes we should be a lot better than we are and we’re just frustrated that we’re not. We haven’t performed to the level of expectations, so there’s a lot of frustration with that.”

“It’s a lot of chaos, a lot of chaos,” Cousins said after the game. “Usually it’s just a frustration about coming out and winning games. But so much extra stuff this season, extra unnecessary stuff. It’s a lot of stuff within, a lot of battles, including guys who should be on your side.”

Then he took a huge jab at George Karl.

“That wasn’t a suspension from the organization, that was one from the head coach,” Cousins said after the game. “There’s a difference.”

Cousins can believe that all he wants but the truth is, the organization suspended him for publicly berating Karl during the timeout against the Cavaliers and that’s not going to fly.

This type of frustration is definitely contagious and not only are the players tired of it, but fans are too. There will be enormous pressure on Vlade Divac to turn the ship around during the offseason. If he doesn’t we don’t want to know how fans will take it.

This decade of mediocrity needs to stop sooner rather than later.
