No one is really sure what kind of insults Ryan Hollins threw at Charlie Villanueva last night, but one thing is for sure: Charlie V didn’t like them. Chuck got into a scuffle with Hollins, and even went after Hollins in the bowels of the Palace after both players were ejected. Villanueva was heard saying “I will kill that dude,” (a fairly articulate statement for the circumstances, if I do say so myself) and was corralled by Palace security.
While I’m not vindicating what Charlie V did in any way, Hollins is a punk. Unlike other top trash talkers in the game, Hollins doesn’t have the game to back up his mouth. He’s basically the Matt Cooke of basketball; talented enough to stay in the league, but stupid enough to piss everyone else off with no backup in sight.
If this incident wasn’t sad enough, the Pistons lost to the Cavaliers, and new owner Tom Gores showed the world that he is indeed white and therefore cannot dance.
