Last year, the Bobcats had an absolutely terrible season. They finished 21-61. They do have some young talent, like Cody Zeller and Kemba Walker. Their future isn’t looking too bad.

Bobcats 2013-14 MVP Prediction: Kemba Walker: Kemba Walker is an amazing player out of the university of Connecticut. Last year with the Bobcats he averaged 17.7 points, two steals, and 5.7 assists per game. That’s very good, and he is still young, so I expect that to improve. One of the problems with Walker is that he plays for the Bobcats. He doesn’t have many people to assist to. I find it remarkable that he averaged 5.7 assists with the Bobcats last year. He is a tremendous talent, and I see him being the best player for the Bobcats this year.

3 Players That Bobcats Fans Need To Look Out For This Season:

  • Cody Zeller: Cody Zeller is a 7 foot center out of Indiana University. In his final year with Indiana, he averaged 16.5 points,  and 8 rebounds per game. He was great. I witnessed it first hand, when he came to State College, and dominated the Penn State frontcourt. He is probably the most athletic 7 footer that the game has seen for awhile. I really wanted the 76ers to draft him, but the Bobcats took him 4th overall in the draft. I am very eager to see how he adjusts to the NBA. I think he will have a good season. He is definitely a candidate for the NBA Rookie Of The Year Award.
  • Kemba Walker: In Kemba Walker’s first two seasons in the NBA, he hasn’t gotten as many assists as I think that he should’ve. This was because of his teammates. He didn’t have many players that he could assist, and he still averaged almost 6 assists per game. The Bobcats added Al Jefferson over the offseason, and I think that this will really help Kemba Walker. Walker now has a nice target that he can pass to. I think that his assists will increase by two or three now. I think he’ll get about 8 assists per game this season.
  • Al Jefferson: Al Jefferson was an offseason addition to the Bobcats. He has had a good career. I think that if he has a good season, the Bobcats have a chance at the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference. I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking that I’m crazy, right? Well the Bobcats now have Kemba Walker, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Cody Zeller, and Al Jefferson. That’s not bad at all. If Al Jefferson has a good season, then I think they will in fact, go to the playoffs. I really think he is the difference maker for the Bobcats. That’s why I think the Bobcats fans need to keep there eyes on him this season.

Bobcats Season Prediction: 42-40: This is not a typo. I think that the Bobcats will finish over .500 this season, and a 42-40 record should get them into the playoffs. You’re probably thinking I’m insane right now. Some would even say that I’m “going cray-cray”. I would say that Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Kemba Walker, Cody Zeller, and Al Jefferson are all talented players, and I think that these players are good enough to take a team to the playoffs.
