Are you a UConn Huskies fan that has Charter-Northeastern as your cable provider and you’re afraid you might miss this Saturday’s game against the Temple Owls. Well here’s a press release from the UConn Huskies Athletic Communications Department telling you what you need to do.
STORRS, Conn. – Many UConn fans continue to contact us and ask how they can help get SNY on Charter’s cable system in northeastern Connecticut. As you may know, SNY, the new TV home of UConn football and men’s basketball, is now available throughout the entire state of Connecticut except for Charter-Northeastern, which includes our Storrs campus and the surrounding communities.
While 98% coverage in Connecticut is very good, we are disappointed that Charter is not providing SNY to our loyal fans in the northeastern part of the state. Charter currently provides SNY on its system in western Connecticut, but does not have SNY on its northeastern Connecticut system.
To best answer the question from UConn fans, we encourage you to call Charter at the phone number below and say “I want SNY”! If Charter’s loyal customers continue to voice their concerns, the more quickly Charter is likely to react.
Thank you for your continuing support of the Huskies. We are happy to respond to UConn fans with this information so that our dedicated supporters who are Charter-Northeastern customers may soon enjoy UConn on SNY.
To contact Charter, Please Call: (508) 853-1515
You will be connected with an automated line. Press “0” once, then “0” again to reach an operator. Please ask to speak with a local manager responsible for making the decision to add SNY to the local channel lineup.
