The fine folks working in connection with New Era were kind enough to send me the pictured hat – in 7 3/8, in case you wanted to know how big my brain is – so that I could get a first-hand head look at what the new Detroit Lions players will be wearing on Thursday night at the 2014 NFL Draft.

The 2014 Draft Cap collection features reflective material on top of the cap’s visor – that when exposed to a camera phone flash, reveals a mosaic of team word marks and logos.
