CHFF posts power rankings and they slot Indy at 9.
9. INDIANAPOLIS (12-5). Tony Dungy and Peyton Manning will go down as one of the great QB/coach combos of all time – seven seasons, seven playoff appearances, an 85-27 record (.759) in the regular season and a Super Bowl ring. Manning was 32-32 in four years with Jim Mora.
Other than pointing out the obvious (Peyton Manning wasn’t 32-32, the Colts were), it’s still one of my favorite stats. Mora really was one of the worst coaches ever. So much of the “Manning chokes” crap stems from him having two playoff games with Jim Mora as coach. Have I mentioned that Jim Mora NEVER had a team win a playoff game. Sad.
