I’ve said some harsh things about Chipper Jones in the past, but, on Wednesday…dude got a pass.
Perhaps inspired by the Tampa Bay Rays, the Atlanta Braves legend was in the Tampa area to help raise funds for Pediatric Cancer Foundation and, in the process, get his head shaved.
“I’m a little scared to see how much my hair line has receded,” Jones said prior to being shorn. “But it’s well worth it, because this is a great cause. We’re going to raise at least $50,000 by the end of the week.”

Jones wasn’t alone. Joining the former National League MVP…nearly 60 others, including some other current and former Major Leaguers.
