According to the Atlanta Braves, Third baseman Chipper Jones will retire at the end of the 2012 baseball season. The Braves are going to hold a press conference at 11:30 am this morning discussing his decision. Jones was drafted number one overall in the 1990 amateur draft by the Braves and has spent his whole career with them. Jones has a .304 career batting average and has hit 454 home runs.
