Chris beats Goliath, too

The Brewers took game one of their first series of the year in Houston on Friday night, besting the Astros 4-1. Chris Capuano earned the win on his first quality start of the year, upping his record to 4-0, and going six complete while only allowing a lone run; J.J. Hardy provided the run support, breaking a 1-1 tie in the 7th, with a 2-run double to left. Roy Oswalt gave up all of those runs and earned the loss. The Brewers are now 14-8 on the young season, 2 games up on the red-hot Pirates in the loss column. Dave Bush (2-1, 5.04) hopes to repeat the quest of biblical proportions Saturday, trying to slay Sampson–Chris Sampson (2-1, 4.26). Yeah, yeah…the dude in the Bible was “Samson” without a “p,” I know, I know, but I didn’t realize that until I did a Google search and I’m too lazy to try and find the “Delete” key.
