I’ll start this post by saying that I’ve been a big fan of Chris Cooley over the past few years. I used to be a daily reader of his blog (before his brother Tanner started writing too much) and he seems like a pretty cool, down to Earth dude.
But then he went and did something very uncooley. He dyed his hair blonde as if he lost a bet to Bobby Jenks’ goatee or something. I knew as soon as I saw it for the first time tonight during the MNF game that it was going to be a costly mistake. “Oh no the hell he didn’t,” I believe were my exact thoughts.
He did.
And it cost him.
In the second quarter of tonight’s game he broke his right ankle and will miss the rest of his season.
That Karma is a real bitch.
If you’re a grown man, don’t dye your hair blonde, folks. You’ll wind up as hated as A.J. Pierzynski, looking like a hated fake Slim Shady, or out for the season like our dear friend Chris Cooley. It doesn’t end well, especially when your roots start to show.
So, again, don’t dye your hair blonde because it’ll getchya, it’ll getchya every time.
