Neal Huntington said this afternoon that Chris Snyder will likely start 2011 on the disabled list, which means that John Bowker will make the club (yay!) and Ryan Doumit will presumably open the year as the starter catcher (boo!). Between this and the Ciriaco/Rodriguez news, it means that the Pirates will manage to open the year without losing anyone of potential value, though there will obviously be some decisions to make when Snyder is healthy.
