If you haven’t heard about this guy yet, remember the name because there’s a good chance this undrafted free agent rookie will end up on the 53 man roster. Runningback Chris Ivory out of Tiffin College is turning heads in Saints’ training camp through two days. Everything I’ve heard, read and seen about this kid is very promising. The Saints kept four running backs last year so it’s hard to say at this point what that means for Ivory. Bush, Thomas, and Hamilton are guaranteed roster spots. Assuming the Saints keep four, which isn’t a given, you would think P.J. Hill’s familiarity with the offense and the team gives him a leg up on Ivory. But don’t count the young kid out because he’s off to a fast start. I’ll be watching him for sure in preseason.
