Now that exams are finally done kicking my ass, Christmas is right around the corner. We’ll try to go Christmas-themed with today’s links, but I’m not promising anything.
- The newest Kobe vs. LeBron puppet commercial has been released. This Christmas version features legendary emcee KRS-One as Santa and up-and-coming rapper Lupe Fiasco as Blitzen. I thought it was pretty good, but I don’t understand why Santa is dunking on his own reindeer. [via Ball Don’t Lie]
- I haven’t seen anything like this from the Pistons yet, but the Chicago Bulls wish their fans a Merry Christmas with their rendition of Jingle Bells. Just remember, there’s a reason these guys play basketball. (Check the link, the video won’t embed.)
- Edit: looks like the Pistons have their own video. I gotta say, this one is way better. Mason does a fantastic job, as usual. [via Life on Dumars and It’s Just Sports]
- Apparently former NBA sharpshooter and current ESPN analyst Tim Legler loves himself some beer pong and ugly Christmas sweater parties. I’m with Daulerio though, Legler would be one hell of a pong partner.
- Guyism has a great list of some ridiculous Christmas print ads. Just don’t mess with the family in the last ad.
- It looks like no one is safe from the recession our country is in right now. Not even the big guy. Jovial my ass.
- Winging It in Motown has a great list of Christmas wishes from all of the Wings. I’d add some Nyquil to Brian Rafalski’s list though.
Rob’s Highlight of the Day
You all saw it last week already, but Drew Miller’s Superman goal (not to be confused with Johan Franzen’s Superman goal) was the best play I’ve seen over the past week.
Happy Holidays everyone.
