Live blog time. I have nothing better to do 4 days before Christmas other than to do a live blog recap. Teams about to jump. Let’s do it to it. 

Justin Jackson wins his first tip of the season. Dixon with a tough shot, but Jackson rebounds and scores with a foul. Dixon gets the missed free throw. Kilpatrick misses an open 3. Wow. APB steps out of bounds. Wide open baseline jumper for Parker makes it 5-0. Wild pass upcourt is stolen by Cash. UC turns it over in transition. UC trapping the post. Broughton a jumper for the first APB bucket. Kilpatrick takes his man to the bucket but misses. 3 no good and a foul as Parker gets the board. Guy had a 3 but dropped the ball. Broughton another jumper. 5-4. Parker long on a baseline jumper. 3 pointer the other way. First time UC has trailed since X. Cash with a long 3. 3 by Broughton. He’s taken 4 shots already. Guy got the flagrant, was trying to help up Dixon, then Jackson pushed him away and both got technicals. Dixon hits 1 of 2. Rebound and Killa misses a 3. Broughton another 3. Nelson is lighting into Gaines. Under 4 as the pass is knocked out of bounds. 40-28. 

Alley oop attempt to Gaines missed, but he gets it back and scores? with a foul? Yes. He makes the free throw. Gaines forces a tough layup attempt. Dixon throws the ball away, and was lucky that wasn’t an over and back. Deep 3 by Cash no good. Transition foul on Cash. 1-1. Make. Miss. Sanders from the corner to Gaines on the block to the middle to Dixon for a dunk. Nice. Blcok by Gaines. And a rebound on a miss. Dixon throws it away, no, tipped by APB. Ok it’s APB ball. That pass was so bad that the officials thought it was tipped. Kilpatrick 3. Think he got the rebound on the other end. 10 seconds call. Nice pass by Cash to Killa for the triple. Back to actual action. Crossover by Cash but missed the 3. UC can pretty much run the clock. Alley oop to Gaines. They chose to not to do that. 50-29 at the break.

Second half starts with a missed 3. Jackson board. Dixon off a screen and gets fouled. He’s going to the line for 2. Miss. Make. Work on the free throws, best friend. Jacksno steal. Wright blocked. Jackson saves it to Parker for a wide open 3. Another turnover. SK drives and is fouled. Make. Miss. Jackson gets the board near the sideline, tries to throw it off someone but throws it away. 3 shots get a bucket for APB. Dixon off a screen to the basket for a layup. 57-31. Airball. Wright to Parker for 3. Turnover 20. Cash drive and kick but SK misses. Dixon tipped the board out. Later he misses a shot by a lot. Airball in the lane. Nice pass underneath and guy dropped it. Foul on the court. I think shooting a 3. Under 16, UC up 29.

Shaq Thomas on the bench. He’s practicing now. He wears tights apparently. Make make miss. Rebound though. Wild shot missed. Parker drives and goes off glass. Steal by Guyn. 10th for UC. 21 or so turnovers for APB. Jackson with a nice move but misses. Nelson has said “$_______ move, 10 cent finish,” at least twice. Parker fouled. Parker make make. Guyn and Parker on the floor for a losee ball. Parker step up 3 and a foul. Free throw good. I love JaQuon Parker. Some stuff happened. Parker misses a shot off glass. We are under the 16. Dixon misses a shot, but is fouled. Justin Jackson went no look pass. Dixon misses. APB layup. Dixon to the rim. Jackson forces a turnover. UC misses a bunch of good looks. Sanders and Jackson ran a give and go. Jackson with a follow tip. 72 for UC. Unless they go cold, I might have underestimated the offense. Killa draws another foul. Under 12.

SK at the line. Miss make. UC 14-23 at the line. That’s awful. Can’t blame Gates or the bigs for that. Jackson almost a block, but a foul. Another 3 by Cash. It’s a 40 point game. Pine Bluff had an alley oop, but made a bad pass. Davis with a 3. Cash got away with a pushoff, but misses a 3. Turnover again. Pine Bluff had a nice dunk. Davis bricks a 3, but 2 putbacks lead to a bucket. Dixon scored. Davis too quick on the other way and turns it over. Screen and kick but Sanders missed. Dixon rebounds and is fouled. Under 8, it’s a 81-40 game. Don’t think Pine Bluff is coming back. Davis layup. Someone else scored. Dixon made free throws, that was it. 16 until 100. 7 minutes to do it. Dixon bricks a 3. He’s getting all the garbage time shots. Dixon fouled again. He’s 4-9 at the stripe. Make make. Wild action both ends. 5:35 left. 14 points until 100. Parker in for Killa. Guyn blocked. Gaines rebounds and is fouled. 6 boards by Gaines. He missed both FTs. Guyn misses a runner, gets the board, scores and is fouled. Make. 89-43. I’m rooting for 100. Gaines scores in a triple team. Nice. Apparently Gaines is going to turn and dunk every shot the rest of his career, according to Nelson. Offensive foul on Gaines. UC at 91. 3 minutes left. Reverse layup for APB. Mick after the game. “When you can spread the floor, you put so much pressure on the defense. Makes them try to take away the 3 or the layup. 43 deflections. Gotta box out more.
