The Cincinnati Bearcats saw their name come up for the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row. It’s the first time since 2003-2004 that UC has gone back to back to the tournament. They are a 6 seed, also for the second year in a row, in the East region. They are taking on Texas on Friday in Nashville. A potential match up with Florida State and St Bonaventure wait in the second round.
This tremendous accomplishment for the senior class and Mick Cronin considering where this program was coming from. It’s awesome to be comfortably in the tournament. Not everyone can be so lucky. This has been a great week for Cincinnati basketball. One of the best in a long, long time. Enjoy it everyone. The climb back to national prominance cleared a hurdle last season It’s climbed a mountain this season. A season that looked lost in December is full of potential next week. We are dancing, people.
