Cincinnati announced a huge football series today. Starting next season, they play a home and home with:
The Miami Hurricanes. Cincinnati makes the trip to Sun Life Stadium on October 11. That's 2 weeks after they play at Ohio State. Cincinnati will host Miami in the 2015 season on October 3.
We know in 2014 Cincinnati plays Toledo on September 13, Miami University the following week, travels to Ohio State on September 27 and they play at Miami on October 11.
In 2015, Cincinnati reopens Nippert Stadium with Alabama A&M on September 5. They play rival Miami September 19, host the U October 3 and go to BYU on October 24.

This is really exciting news. Cincinnati has added some big time schools over the next few seasons. Michigan and Nebraska are on the schedule in the next 3 and 6 years respectively, a series with BYU starts next year, UC goes to Purdue in 2016. UC goes back to Ohio State in 2018 or 2019. They have to schedule tougher being a league that's not as solid. This year's schedule quite frankly was a joke.
UC loses one of their biggest games of the season when Louisville drops off the schedule. Hopefully we see that series renewed soon. UC may not have open dates for next year if they play 8 conference games. Maybe in 2015? If there is a series that I want them to go after next, it's that one for sure. In the mean time, adding this ACC opponent is pretty awesome. Great work, Whit.
