Cincinnati Hits 25 in the Coaches’ Poll

Buffalo Sabres v Boston Bruins

The only poll that matters in college football is the Coaches' Poll because that one has ties with the BCS. The AP Poll is voted on by a bunch of morons. Cincinnati has hit the rankings in one of those. As you can tell by the headline, it was the good one. The Bearcats are ranked 25th in the latest poll. That could be enough to help them crack the BCS Top 25.

Their next game is against 16th ranked Louisville. They are chasing 19th ranked Central Florida and are on pace to maybe pass them in the standings if the Knights trip up. Let's not look that far ahead. Let's look at this. Cincinnati is ranked. Louisville is ranked. The biggest game of the season on December 5, the one people have been pointing to all season long, is between a pair of ranked teams. Just what we all thought would happen after UC lost to USF.

Enjoy the ranking, everyone. It's a nice token of how hard the Cats have fought back to gain respect this season. I'm proud of them.
