Cincinnati President Greg Williams Resigns

I don’t really know what the news that University of Cincinnati president Greg Williams resigning has to do with this blog, but it certainly is a surprising piece of news. Provost Ono, who is truly awesome to follow on twitter, is the acting president. This tweet from Justin Gibson speculates that it was from personal problems. The article that was posted on the Cincinnati.com website has no real information besides what’s out there. 

Here is why twitter is weird. Earlier today, I was writing up the post about Leonard Stokes. I had his twitter page open when he responded to Mr Gibson’s tweet about the resignation. So I found out through Lenny Stokes that Greg Williams was resigning. Life is a series of strange occurrences. Twitter makes things even stranger. Once again, I have turned a story about someone else into a story about myself. That’s how we do, my peeps.
