If you’re a Bearcat, or you live near the Tri-State area, skip work; get fired; do everything you can to attend the first-ever University of Cincinnati Social Media Week February 23-27.
Attendees will learn more effective ways to utilize popular social media outlets, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. And I mean, c’mon, who wouldn’t want to take a class called “Who Gives a Tweet?”?
Obviously, this isn’t directly associated with football, but don’t be fooled, it is related in some capacity. When head football coaches get in trouble by the NCAA for tweeting a recruit too much or at a time in the year unapproved by the NCAA, you know social media has infiltrated every aspect of humanity. If you need a further explanation of social media’s affect on college football, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh currently has the most popular Twitter account for a head football coach.
Maybe coach Tuberville will attend a session on how to implement Snapchat into his recruiting strategy.
