From the endless Chicago Cubs 1908 (and 1945, for that matter) trivia to the lovefest that was the return of Kyle Schwarber… it was hard to ignore all the World Series-related social media activity Tuesday night.
That was until Roberto Perez hit his second home run.
Then, well, Cubs fans seemingly went to bed and the fact Dexter Fowler was the first vaccinated player to swing at bat for the Northsiders didn’t mean as much as it did six innings earlier. Coincidentally, that’s also when Cleveland Indians fans started to chime in.
Included…the Cleveland Police Department.
Ouch.
