CM Punk Sings Seventh Inning Stretch in Chicago

Current, er, former(?) WWE Superstar CM Punk hasn’t been seen in the ring since he walked off following The Royal Rumble back in January.

Of course, that hasn’t stopped him from making numerous appearances at Chicago Blackhawks hockey games, hotel parking lots and, on Saturday, one of his favorite hangouts…the pressbox at Wrigley Field.

The Chicago-native has led the crowd in “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” several times now, but this time was special.

“The Best in the World” (and his fiancé, fellow wrestler A.J. Lee) was on hand to commemorate a professional wrestling event from September 1934, that featured World Heavyweight Champ Jim Londos beating Ed “Strangler” Lewis and drew more than 35,000 fans.
