The LSU Tigers want the new face of their football team to be Jimbo Fisher. According to multiple media reports, LSU has been attempting to lure Fisher from FSU to the Tigers and have even provided him with an official offer.
Current interim LSU head coach Ed Orgeron is believed to still be in the running for the permanent job if Fisher stays at Florida State. And rightly so because Oregeron has turned around a lackadaisical team that was previously under Les Miles.
John James “Jimbo” Fisher has been the Florida State Seminoles head football coach since 2010 after holding the offensive coordinator job under Bobby Bowden for three seasons. Prior to coming to Florida State, Fisher was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at LSU for 7 seasons from 2000-2006. With Florida State, Fisher has compiled a 76-17 record with three ACC championships and one national championship in 2013.
