Cold in Cleveland? It’s Always Hot in Arizona

Tired of the cold yet, Clevelanders? The Browns have you down? Tired of seeing the Cavs on the outside of the play-off picture despite the fact that more than half of the teams in the league make it? Or that there is a team named the Heat that is poised for another championship run, doubly mocking the city of Cleveland. Forget about all that. There is one place that hope always springs eternal and the sun always shines. The grass is green, the sky is blue and the palm trees sway over 2,000 miles away from South Florida.

The Indians know things are better in Arizona in the Spring time and that's why they make their Spring Training home in sunny Goodyear, Arizona and you can be there too. If you're tired of spending outrageous amounts to see the Indians play in Cleveland, you'll love that you can find seats for just $8 and up and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Twice (2010 and 2012), Goodyear Ballpark, home of the Indians and Reds, has been voted the best Spring Training venue in Arizona during it's five year existence.

There really is no better way to avoid single digit temperatures than to have some fun in the sun from February 26th through March 27th. If I have convinced you of the greatness of Goodyear, check out this article about the best games to watch this upcoming Spring Training and this one about the best place to sit. Once you've done your research, make sure to head over to the official website of Goodyear Ballpark, goodyearbp.com or Indians.com to buy tickets to support your Tribe. Where else will you get to see Francisco Lindor play at a Major League level before August?
