College Gameday is coming to Philadelphia

-7

College Gameday took a longer time than usual to make a decision on where they should travel to next, but it was a no brainer to come to Philadelphia. #21 Temple is off to its best start ever in program history and is probably playing their most important game to date. #9 Notre Dame comes into the game with only one loss and this game will be a homecoming for star wide receiver, Will Fuller who’s from Philadelphia and went to Roman Catholic. Looking at the other games this coming weekend, Temple-Notre Dame is the only matchup between two ranked teams and College Gameday would have been foolish not to come to a top five media market.

It will be the first time College Gameday has been to Philadelphia since 2002, when they were at Franklin Field for Penn-Harvard. College Gameday will be coming back to Philadelphia on December 12th for the Army-Navy game, which is back at Lincoln Financial Field after being at M&T Bank Stadium Maryland last year.

Getting College Gameday to come to Philadelphia is great because they never usually go to big cities for whatever reason and new people get to experience it for the first time. We don’t know where the show will be broadcast from yet, but we will keep you updated. We got College Gameday, now it’s time to focus on beating Notre Dame and making some history.
