Phil B. Wilson of the Indy Star spoke with Colts running back Mike Hart about his young career in Indianapolis. After having star careers in high school and college, at Michigan, he has found his way onto the Colts but has been reserved to third or fourth on the team’s depth chart.
Disaster struck for Hart early, soon after he had his first opportunity to make a real contribution against Baltimore in 2008. He suffered a season-ending knee injury, was placed on the injured reserve, failed to make the regular season roster to start the 2009 season, was even released from the roster, and then re-signed to the team to eventually get two carries in the Super Bowl.
For a glimpse into Hart’s experience, I suggest visiting Phil B.’s story.
