Although it is hard to imagine that the fans and some of the NFL’s elite players have a whole lot in common, a story Jon Robinson wrote for ESPN should give fans a jumping off point. Young fans in particular have grown up in a gaming enriched environment and Dwight Freeney is no different.
Unlike a casual fan though, Freeney has earned celebrity status worthy of getting an insider’s look into Call of Duty: Black Ops, the newest edition in the Call of Duty series. In his interview with Robinson, Freeney discusses what can only be described as a gamers dream setup playing some of his favorite game. It’s really cool to get a look inside the lives of some of Colts fans’ biggest heroes, and this story does a great job of providing that rare perspective.
