The Colts have announced that tight end Dallas Clark has been placed on the injured reserve list and will miss the remainder of the 2010 season. Clark suffered an injury to his right hand and wrist in the late stages of the Colts’ 27-24 victory over the Washington Redskins. Colts President Bill Polian has now clarified the injury by saying, “It’s to the ligament in the hand that’s been displaced, I’m told it’s not something that’s very safe to play with. It’s likely he will have to have it fixed.”
For those unfamiliar with NFL injured reserve rules, Dallas Clark will NOT be eligible to come back at any point this season, including the playoffs.
Coltzilla will continue to update you on any additional updates on Clark and his teammates as information becomes available.
