Coming in via @espn_afcsouth on Twitter, reportedly the Colts have waived quarterback Tim Hiller, and signed running back Allen Patrick and cornerback Glenn Sharpe. Patrick played behind Adrian Peterson at Oklahoma in college, and shared carries with two other running backs in his junior and senior seasons.
Sharpe is a physically gifted cornerback from the University of Miami who has suffered numerous injuries throughout his career that have hindered his ability to land a permanent spot in the NFL. If he manages to stay healthy, and if his injuries have not taken away from his physical gifts, he could be a surprising late option for the Colts.
