Colts/Texans issues

Kuharsky runs down trouble spots

From Gary Horton of Scouts Inc.:

“The Texans have really been porous in pass defense and they are at the bottom of the league in those categories. They are especially vulnerable in the middle of the field as their safeties tend to ‘cheat’ forward to play the run and they tend to bite on play fakes and that can lead to big plays down the seams — especially if opposing offense run the ball well.”

If that holds true against the Colts, those seams are places where Dallas Clark and Austin Collie typically do some damage. But Clark is finished for the year and Collie won’t play after thumb surgery. Anthony Gonzalez could be back and he’s good out of the slot. But will the Colts be able to take advantage of these spaces like they would at full strength?
