Today it was announced that Sonny Milano and Dean Kukan were called up for the Columbus Blue Jackets from the Lake Erie Monsters. Kukan was recalled on an emergency basis, while Milano was a regular call up. While the news of Kukan coming up is nice, the name that immediately sticks out for Blue Jacket fans is Milano. Milano has a dynamic game that can be very, very entertaining.
We all remember this video of him pre-draft:
Milano has 27 points in 48 games, just a bit over a half a point per game. Milano has seen time with Bjorkstrand while in Lake Erie, I wonder if they will reunite and form one of the most promising lines in all of hockey. That statement may sound like hyperbole but it looks like the future may be now for some of these players.
