Comcast SportsNet Chicago To Air 18 Out-of-Market NHL Games

In a very good move, Comcast SportsNet Chicago will be picking up 18 NHL games from other Comcast SportsNet affiliates and airing them live. The games will come from Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, Philadelphia and California. Take a look at the press release.

Chicago, IL (January 5, 2010) – Comcast SportsNet Chicago, the television home for the most games and most comprehensive coverage of the NHL Western Conference/Central Division first place Chicago Blackhawks, is ready to deliver even more NHL excitement to its viewers with the addition of 18 LIVE “best of” out-of-market NHL telecasts featuring the very best teams and players from around the NHL. 

Comcast SportsNet Chicago’s first “best of” NHL telecast takes place this Saturday, January 9 at 10:30 PM (joined in progress following the Blackhawks at Minnesota 7:00 PM game telecast and Blackhawks Post Game Live) as the Detroit Red Wings travel to face the San Jose Sharks in a Western Conference showdown.  Additional NHL “best of” games on Comcast SportsNet’s schedule feature other top teams including Washington, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, Vancouver and many more.
