In the first of what is sure to be many post-season awards, Cavalier Head Coach Mike Brown was today honored as the NBA’s coach of the year. We all see what type of team Coach Brown has put together this year – loose but disciplined, intense but selfless. They enjoy playing together and they win. And that’s all that really matters.
MVP is a done deal. Don’t worry about it.
Danny Ferry deserves the front office award too. Look at what he’s done to build this franchise. If LBJ does decide to leave after next year there is no one to assign the blame to. Danny has done more than I ever would have thought possible to build a championship roster. But Lebron won’t leave. We will win it all this year, add another piece and demolish all of this years records in a back to back championship year in 2009-10. And how could anyone leave after that?
