Larry Brooks at the New York Post reports that the reason there has been no announcement regarding the Rangers/Flyers Winter Classic is that contracts are still being finalized between the NHL and the Phillies’ ballpark.
Brooks has been told that the Jan. 2 game is not in jeopardy.
…it better not be in jeopardy. I think I’m more excited for HBO’s 24/7 than the game.
