WHAT THEY’RE SAYING ON TWITTER:
I wrote about this extensively last year, but if Barry Larkin is a Hall of Famer than Alan Trammell is too. A travesty if he falls off.

I'm not a Tigers' fan in any way, but I do feel that Alan Trammell should be in the Hall of Fame.

If Alan Trammell does not get in to the Hall of Fame, it could go down as one of the greatest snub in sports history.

HOVG THOUGHTS: For some reason, after Bert Blyleven made it into the Hall of Fame in 2011, Trammell became the Blyleven of many Hall of Fame discussions. And I’m not sure why. When Trammell played, like Blyleven, he was so overshadowed by some of the other guys out there that no one would have considered him a lock for Cooperstown. Now, long after retiring and having spent the maximum number of years on the ballot…people are loudly banging his drum. Why? I liked Trammell, it’s true…but I just don’t see it, gang.
