PLAYING CAREER: Anaheim Angels (1998–2004), Arizona Diamondbacks (2005), Toronto Blue Jays (2006–2007), St. Louis Cardinals (2008–2009) and Atlanta Braves (2010).

ACHIEVEMENTS: 320 career home runs in 13 seasons. Four-time All-Star (2000-2001, 2003 and 2006). 2002 World Series champion and World Series MVP. Two-time Silver Slugger Award (2000 and 2001). Five seasons with 30 or more home runs. 2000 American League home run leader.

HOVG THOUGHTS:  Before a shoulder injury derailed him in 2003, Glaus was on his way to what could have been a pretty stellar career. Unfortunately, only a handful of very good years do not a Hall of Famer make.
