Fort Worth’s Corey Washington got back to his winning ways with a first round knockout of Antwan Burris this past Friday night in Nacogdoches, TX. Washington was fighting on the undercard of Geroge Forman III’s fight against David Robinson.
Washington (3-4-1, 1 KO) dropped Burris (1-3) with a left hook-right hand combo that left the Arkansas native unfit to continue.
Also representing North Texas on the card was Dallas heavyweight Ross “The Boss” Brantley (2-18-1) who was stopped in the second round by Scott Rossum (18-2, 16 KOs).
